Birdy Brighton is a nature photographer who lives in Northwest Arkansas with her charming and funny husband and her two adorable stinky dogs.
Born in a small town in Arkansas, she grew up surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. Eric, one of three older brothers, made a vital impact on the artist growing up. Shadowing him from a very young age, she attributes most of her artistic ability to his influence. As a child her passion for science and wilderness was nurtured by her Mother, Father, and Grandpa Al. Now as an adult her love for the outdoors was rekindled by Eleanor Osgood, a wonderful friend and volunteer for the Audobon Society.
Birdy Brighton has written two children’s books, Katydid’s Moon and Strange Beauty.
